Our commitment to the Visual Arts extends to our role as official solicitors for the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography Inc, Advertising and Illustrative Photographers Association Inc, Licensed Buildings Practitioners Institute Inc and The New Zealand Division of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects Inc.

We value our long-standing relationship with the Designers Institute, which dates back to the inception of the Institute, and we are delighted to continue our support of the Designers Institute through sponsorship. Our sponsorship provides legal services and continuing professional development to both the Desingers Institute and its members.

As part of our sponsorship commitment to the Designers Institute, Clendons are pleased to provide free 15-minute consultations to the Designers Institute members on legal issues. Consultations are provided by senior legal professionals with experience in advising designers and visual artists (note: Consultations must be arranged through the Designers Institute office).

In addition to our specialist visual arts and intellectual property practice, Clendons has provided legal and strategic advice to the Designers Institute members on a variety of relevant legal issues including joint venture and commercial projects, contracts and terms of trade, project disputes, employment law, and trade practices.
