ECC has always been keen to support the professions and industry from which it derives its income. While we have a large customer base that utilises our show rooms directly we know that that level of business is surpassed many times over by the business generated for us by the design professionals who specify our products. We appreciate all our customers. All are important to us, particularly through those that elect to come back time and time again. We are delighted that many of our customers have been with us for decades and in some instances, that loyalty spans more than one generation. The reason we decided, quite some years ago, to actively support designers and architects through their respective professional organisations, is simple. It is our belief that such support allows us the opportunity to put something back into the groups whose members generate considerable business for us. We have committed on numerous occasions to such programmes as The Best Awards, 2Days Design and the Institute itself by providing premises and through direct cash contributions. We look for no direct return for our support other than the hope that we will continue to reach those professionals responsible for specifying lighting systems, fittings and furniture.
